Paperwork and Procedures – the Basic Idea
ChildSafe is essentially a risk management system for Child related activities. As far as paperwork and procedures goes, there’s the following to be aware of.
    -
    - the process for appointing team members
Before anyone can be involved in running Children’s (and Youth) programs with our church they must become a ChildSafe Team Member. In order to do so they must complete a formal application process.
    -
    - the procedure for planning and approval each program or event
Before a Team Leader can run a Children’s’ program they must gain permission to proceed from the ChildSafe Coordinator. For more information on our programs try these links.
    -
    -
    - what to do when things go wrong
If there are any accidents during a Children’s activity, then an accident and incident report must be completed. There may even be situations where emergency response procedures must be followed.
